This course will teach students how to draw fashion designs both by hand and using computer software (Adobe Illustrator, etc.), from sketching to technical flats. Pattern making and fabric choosing are critical topics that are also covered. Students will learn how to prepare a comprehensive and competitive art portfolio for their college application after completing in this course. Following all sections of the course, students will learn a set of procedures for making clothes such as suits and skirts from scratch.
