Laurel Springs School and Zenith Study Lab — New Partnership Announced!
In an exciting development for the education sector, Laurel Springs School (LSS) and Zenith Study Lab (ZSL) have announced a strategic partnership to enhance student learning experiences and opportunities. We the Zenith Study Lab feel so honored to be a partner of Laurel Springs School! This collaboration will leverage the strengths and resources of both institutions to drive innovation in education.
Laurel Springs School is a K–12 distance learning private school in Ojai, California, United States. It has been accredited by WASC and Cognia and provided 233 college prep courses, 36 honors courses, 24 AP courses, and 169 NCAA-approved courses. As a superior school, their uniqueness is in being able to not only accommodate the schedules of students, but in providing a system of transparency that facilitates their progress in the classroom, especially as they navigate and make the transition to college. Some of its current partners include Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, JTCC, Connect ED, Athletes to Athletes, Chicago Fire Soccer Academy, San Jose Quakes, PGA (Golf), and other educational institutes.
Through the strategic partnership, our students, including children with ADHD, in Zenith Study Lab can enjoy the following advantages:
1. Flexible Scheduling:
Children can work at their own pace, allowing them to take breaks as needed and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
They can choose the time of day when they are most focused and productive.
2. Reduced Distractions:
Learning from home can minimize the distractions and sensory overload often found in traditional classroom settings.
Parents can create a controlled, quiet environment tailored to their child’s needs.
3. Learning:
The curriculum can be customized to fit the child’s learning style and interests, making it more engaging and easier to focus.
One-on-one interactions with teachers can provide targeted support and accommodations.
4. Self-Paced Learning:
Children can spend more time on subjects or tasks they find challenging without the pressure of keeping up with the rest of the class.
They can accelerate through material they find easier, reducing boredom and frustration.
5. Reduced Social Pressures:
Online learning can alleviate the stress of social interactions and peer comparisons, which can be particularly challenging for children with ADHD.
6. Consistency and Routine:
Parents and children can establish consistent routines that suit the child’s needs, which is beneficial for managing ADHD symptoms.
Predictable schedules help children with ADHD feel more secure and less anxious.
7. Use of Technology:
Interactive and multimedia tools can make learning more engaging for children with ADHD.
Digital tools can help with organization and time management, such as calendars, reminders, and task lists.
We believe that the partnership can push our innovative learning to a new level. LSS’s enriched online teaching resources and ZSL’s offline study lab can push our practical learning philosophy to a new peak.
Let’s celebrate!
