The topic of today’s summer science lecture is the imaging principle of the microscope and how to use it. Some high school students may already be familiar with it; but for elementary school students, what does the microscopic world look like to their imagination?
“Only by using observation to understand the facts can we build real understanding.”
The children expressed their opinions: some said it was like tiny caterpillars, and some said it was a bunch of small balls. Through the introduction of convex lens, concave lens, and plane mirrors, the children got a preliminary understanding of the imaging principle of the microscope. Now we all know that the microscopic world is diverse, and that we can’t draw conclusions freely without using the correct tools to observe it. Only by using observation to understand the facts can we build real understanding.
